Trailer Storage- NEW TRAILER FEES
After much discussion at our August 31st public meeting and on an online survey, the R- Ranch Board of Directors voted unanimously to begin charging to store trailers, boats, and motor vehicles in R-Ranch storage areas. Effective January 1, 2014, Pardners will be charged $10.00 per month or $100.00 per year for vehicle storage. Pardners will not be charged for any months they use RV units on the Ranch or have had them moved from the Ranch. NO pro-ration will be applied for any partial month’s use, if the unit is stored on R-Ranch property for the balance of that month. Fees collected will be earmarked to enhance security at all the storage facilities, erect fencing, install cameras and improved lighting, increase patrols, and possibly to set up a new storage sight at the Klamath Campground. There are currently about 440 RV units stored on the Ranch with some in poor repair. We anticipate the Ranch or Owners will remove as many as 100 units to avoid charges. Increased theft, vandalism, the deteriorating condition of some units, and overcrowded storage facilities have made these changes necessary. Thank you for your support.
