Klamath River Campground

offers the serenity of camping along the fish-hook bend of the Klamath river, where the world around you will be drowned out by the sound of the ripples in the water. Featuring 156 sites (84 with electric hookups), two modern restroom/showers, two laundry rooms and more this camping experience is truly breathtaking. The Klamath Lodge hosts the ranch’s holiday dances and regular pot luck gatherings. With a kitchen/dining area, pool/foosball table, games/puzzles, satellite TV, riverside decks and more this lodge will serve as the foundation for many wonderful memories.


The Cottonwood Campground Area

is the ranch’s largest area, with the largest number of ranch amenities of in any of the four R-Ranch parcels. Situated on over 3000 acres, most of which is wilderness, the Cottonwood area features 135 campsites (98 with electric), modern restroom/showers, a laundry, dump station/potty pump service (available), tennis court, Olympic size swimming pool/kiddies pool, play gym, junior TV/video/game room, adult lounge (fireplace, pool, ping pong, kitchenette, book/games/puzzles), internet access, summer snack bar, kitchen/dining room and more. The new bridge over the creek allows owner access via ATV, dirt bike, mountain bike, foot and horseback traffic to one of the largest undeveloped areas to be found in this part of the country – “The 3000”.


The Headquarters/Stables

area welcomes most first-time visitors to the ranch and all it has to offer. After leaving the fast pace of Interstate 5 driving under the R-Ranch arch through the white pasture fences opening to reveal the Headquarters, Stables/Arena, Hay Barn and sweeping lawns immediately takes you a world away from that tempo. The Headquarters offices where official ranch business is conducted along with some wonderful R-Ranch branded souvenirs to help you remember your stay. There’s also restrooms and showers in the detached TV room that also has a fireplace, pool table, a TV with Dish Network and hi-speed wireless internet access.

Immediately adjacent to Headquarters is the center of all the equestrian activity that takes place on the ranch the Stables. Owners are welcome to bring their horses to the ranch, however most owners find the ease of riding the string horses to fit their needs. Whether you’re a beginner, a novice or an expert equestrian everything you need is here for you! Some of those amenities include owner string of horses, riding arena, round pen, boot room, an array of trails, riding lessons and more.


The Bunkhouse

serves as the place for owners and guests to relax rest and sleep after taking in all the fun activities that the ranch and surrounding areas have to offer. With four wings of clean comfortable rooms, central showers/toilets you only need to bring your own bedding and towels. The bunkhouse also houses a central lodge area with a fireplace for reading, game playing and television viewing, along with vending machines and laundry. Or you can choose to stay in one of the detached “line-shacks” where pets are also welcome. Also part of the bunkhouse area is the adjacent “cook shack” that has refrigerators, stoves and dining areas where owners can enjoy making their own meals.

The Gun Range

The Gun Range located on Copco Road on the way to the Klamath Area offers the opportunity for target practice for pistol, rifle and trap/skeet shooting. Regular organized shooting events take place at the shooting range organized by the volunteer Gun Club members.

A-Frame Rental

The A-Frame has been renovated and is now available for reservations for R-Ranch Owners or Sponsored Guests. This view property offers a family setting with many extras at a low introductory rate of $85.00 per day. Call Headquarters (530) 475-3495 for reservations and more information.
