- Deer hunting zones: Our undeveloped hunting land is all located in Zone C-1, to the East of Interstate 5. We are within a 30-minute drive of public land in Zone B-6 as well, so R-Ranch makes a great base camp location for both zones.
- Fishing at R-Ranch: Our 3 main ponds have bass, bluegill, perch, and crappie. The Klamath River is known for salmon and steelhead. Numerous lakes and streams in the area offer rainbow trout, brook trout, bass, and catfish. Head out for the perfect day trip of fishing, either on your own or with one of the local fishing guides.
Are there any additional fees to hunt at R-Ranch?
No, hunting on R-Ranch property is included with your ranch ownership. You only need a valid California hunting license and tags.
What types of game can I hunt on the ranch?
Common game includes black-tailed/mule hybrid deer, wild turkey, quail and other upland game birds, bear, and some waterfowl along our riverfront areas.
