What kind of terrain do the trails cover?

Our horseback trails wind through 1,000+ acres of oak-studded hills, meadows, shaded forests, and ridge-top overlooks. They’re designed to be scenic, immersive, and suitable for all skill levels

Are the trails guided or self-led?

We offer both! Guided trail rides are available daily during peak seasons and are included in your ownership. Experienced riders may explore on their own after passing a riding assessment with our wranglers

Can kids ride?

Absolutely. We welcome young riders! We even offer pony rides, arena lessons, and seasonal horse camps for children. Safety is always a top priority, and age/size guidelines apply for trail rides

Is horseback riding included in my annual dues?

Yes! Guided trail rides and arena time are complimentary for Owners. Specialty riding lessons or off-site excursions may incur a small fee

Who can ride the private trails at R-Ranch?

Only R-Ranch Owners and their registered guests may access our private horseback riding trails. This exclusivity ensures a safe, serene, and uncrowded experience for all riders

Do I need to bring my own horse?

Nope! R-Ranch maintains a herd of well-trained horses for Owner use. You’re also welcome to pasture your personal horse here for an additional fee.
