Great News! The Board and the Klamath River Renewal Corporation have finally reached an agreement about the sediment deposits on our boat ramp and installing a filtration system on our irrigation system in Klamath. You may see workers from the dam removal corporation in our campground the next few weeks working on removing the sediment from our boat ramp and working to install our irrigation pump with filter and ensuring the system works. This work will be arranged, permitted and paid for by KRRC. We are so relieved to see progress on this just in time for the camping season.
On May 2nd they officially began removing the Iron Gate Dam. Work on that will continue through the summer. Please be cautious of equipment, big trucks, and potholes on the Copco Road as you drive to and from the Gun Range and the Klamath Campground.
