Pasture Fees & Agreement

Dear Horse Owners,

The pasture fees for 2021 will have a base rate of $50.00 per month, per horse plus the cost of hay.

The base rate covers the cost of monitoring of your horse and the managing of the pastures. The cost of hay will be the number of bales fed, divided by the number of horses, times the days fed which equals the additional cost per month that we are feeding.

In the non-feeding months, the pasture fees will just be the base rate of $50.00 per month. Pasture fees are reviewed every six months to ensure that this new system is covering all costs. Thank you.

Pasture Rules

To bring a horse on the R-Ranch property you must:

• Have your yearly assessments paid in full on time.( Jan 15 & June 15)
• Have your horse current on all ranch required vaccinations. 5-way & West Nile. If pastured you must have your horse vaccinated by April 15, and a booster by Oct 15 of every year they are pastured on the ranch.
• Have your horse current on worming. If pastured, you must worm your horse every 3 months.
• Have liability insurance on all horses.
• You must call ahead of time to make arrangements with a wrangler (530) 475.3425 or (530) 475.3495
• Q-Pen and pasture agreements are available in Headquarters.
• All private owned horses are allowed to participate in all stables activities.
• Q-Pen agreements must be filled out each time you bring your horse on the ranch.
