Subject: SWRCB Letters re: Ditch Creek Diversion Reports

Hi Dave,

Hope all is well up at R-Ranch.

In early September, R-Ranch received two letters inquiring about the accuracy of the recent water use reports of record, in contrast with the original (and various, likely inaccurate) original Statements filed by Dottie and others, dating back to the 1950’s.

I spoke with Patrick at SWRCB on 10/30/2017, and he said the letters were likely issued as a result of error on SWRCB’s end. No enforcement action is being pursued, and that he would make a note regarding the same to the relevant R-Ranch water-rights files.

I did share with him that the current water rights reports were submitted by me (not R-Ranch), and substantiated by a riparian rights & pre-1914 rights analysis, and that everything was in order, with the exception of the original statements (which were submitted by persons now deceased). He said nothing more was required of R-Ranch at this time.
