Attention R-Ranch Owners, Employees and Guests:
The Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors has issued a memorandum regarding the environmental health impacts along the Klamath River. The memorandum details the levels of heavy metals currently found in the Klamath River.
At this time, it is not safe to consume the Klamath River surface water or to allow your skin to contact the Klamath River water. Even activities such as fly-fishing can carry a risk of exposure to heavy metals. We are advising everyone to STAY OUT OF THE KLAMATH RIVER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
